sandy_cheneryAfter completing degrees in music at the University of Durham, Sandy Chenery sang daily services for over 12 years in Wells Cathedral, St Mary’s
Cathedral, Edinburgh and St George’s Chapel Windsor Castle. During this time, he was also
Director of Music at Hurst Lodge School and worked as a member of the singing panel for Berkshire Young Musicians Trust, teaching singing throughout the county and coaching the Berkshire Boys’ Choir and the East Berkshire Chamber Choir. He is in demand as an adjudicator for choral and vocal festivals and he is the Honorary Secretary of the MMA – the country’s longest running professional body for music teachers.

In July 2016 Sandy relocated back to Scotland to take on the role of Director of Music at The Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools in Edinburgh, the largest independent school in Europe.
